High up in the mountains exists another world. The power of nature is almost physically tangible. Human influence appears to be absent, except for noticeable climate change. Geological layers reveal themselves in different colors. Rocks are drawn by jagged lines. Water always flows down somewhere to give life to the world below.
Living in Geneva I walked a lot in the nearby mountains. The sense of orientation is put to the test as you climb and descend. Usually I have an idea what the end goal is, but the way to it is unknown. Yet, every step I take brings me closer.
